HONG KONG, July 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Workday, Inc. (NASDAQ: WDAY), a leading provider of solutions to help organisations manage their people and money, today announced that Sime Darby Berhad has successfully deployed Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) in Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and Macau as part of its Global HR transformation programme. This will be followed by rollouts to New Zealand, Australia, Taiwan, and Thailand in early 2025.

The recent implementation of Workday HCM in China is part of Sime Darby’s strategic HR transformation for these markets, enabling approximately 7,000 employees access to the full suite of Workday HCM offerings including Workday Absence Management, Workday Compensation, Workday Learning, and Workday Recruiting.

“Our employees, as always, are integral to our business, and we strive to provide a world-class experience working with a multinational company,” said Roselaini Faiz, Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Sime Darby Berhad. “We are proud to offer our employees the tools and support they need to flourish and thrive at work through better collaboration and efficiency with data-backed decision-making across the Group. We look forward to leveraging Workday’s innovative solutions to help drive success through our people.”
